No one always loves themself. No one always hates themself. But everyone feels these emotions towards themself at times.
I made this painting to be relatable to everyone.
There’s a type of dichotomy splitting “God, I ____ Myself” diagonally in half. On the left, displayed is a sad flower. Beautiful, yet sad. On the right, displayed is colors grouped together that appear to be reaching out towards love.
I painted this piece through turbulence and an argument with a close friend.
