A representation of a fever dream to me. While I was painting this piece a fly flew into the paint on my paintbrush then proceeded to try to escape but couldn’t due to the stickiness of my oil paint. The fly made a sacrifice for my art and died on my painting. Thus, this piece is called the face of death.
