Love and Hate is about the internal battle that takes place within us all. The battle of good and evil that can warp our minds and entangle our hearts. On the main canvas there is a battle going on be- tween red and black, and blue and yellow. They’re touching and pushing back and forth against one another. Some- thing lurks within the bottom left of red and black but is un- revealing to the viewer. Where- as, in the top right there’s something existing on it’s own, unfazed or affected by what’s happening around it.
There are two more characters at play. Heart & Mind. Heart is entangled by red and black, while a multitude of colors pour atop heart and entangle it from above as well. It’s trapped. Mind only appears to peek into this whole scene from somewhere else. But that begs the question: Is the mind creating this reality, or is this reality creating it?
